Green beans are closely chosen and delicately roasted the old fashion way with indirect heat of the flame and on a low gas.
After roasting, they are air–cooled in order to make their quality better.

Roasting & Safety

Production chain is very important to Moka Kenya.

Green beans are controlled, analyzed and recognized suitable according to health current regulations by our suppliers. Afterwards green coffee is given a code and stores awaiting processing. In our roasting business every kind of coffee is roasted carefully one by one and every single roasting makes our fine blends.

At the end every roast produces our fine blends and than packed. Every process respects rules protecting production traceability and sell traceability (Reg. CE N. 1760/2000, Reg CE N. 1825/2000, UNI n. 10939:200 and Reg. CE N. 178/2002), in addiction respects healthy rules L. n. 283/62 and D.P.R. n. 470/83.

Thanks to these rules it’s possible to build the story of our coffee and our identification software allows us to know who assisted the process and what kind of material is used.
